This Marlin lever action has to be the coolest renovation of a firearm to date. Leverguns especially for people who live in restricted states have been a viable option for quite some time. Throw on a suppressor and integrated rails and you have a great hunting and self defense rifle.
I got a lot of flack for throwing a Trijicon RMR on my Henry Big Boy. I figured why not, it’s my eyes going down the sights why can’t I see with the best of my ability. A purist will scream at the thought of modern tech touching a rifle of the past. I see a distinct application of modern tech being able to bring back rifles with hard hitting pistol cartridges. Hunters and wheelgun aficionados will gladly take a lever action rifle to pair with their favorite side arms.
I couldn’t help but touch on this creation because of how innovative it is. Much like muscle cars come back into different decades, I can’t see why Wild West guns can’t be the same. Lever actions don’t always have to be wood and brass. These rifles can be a combination of metals and can look really awesome.
I’m glad the Marlin platform was chosen instead of another tube fed brand. Major reloading speeds can be improved by continuously feeding ammo to the gun instead of having to stop and take down the tube to reload. Great fun and can’t wait to see more of this in the future.
